教学目标
1、知识目标
学习怎样用英语表达面部五官,掌握相关的单词:hair/nose/mouth/eye(s)/ear(s)/face.和句型He has(a).../She has (a)...
并能综合运用新、旧知识组织对话完成一定交际任务。
2、情感目标
激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动学习积极性,引导学生积极与他人合作,在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。
3、能力目标
培养学生的观察力、想象力、动手操作能力,提高学生感受美、欣赏美的水平,发展学生综合运用语言的能力。
教学重点
创设语言情景,使学生正确理解和运用所学知识用英语描述任务五官的特点。
教学难点
五官单词中eye,ear的单复数的学习区分及句型操练中不定冠词 a 的具体运用。激发学生的求知欲,创设各种真实或接近真实的语言环境,让学生体验参与,主动学习五官特点的描述。
学情分析
学生的年龄在十岁左右,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、画画、手工特别感兴趣。学生学英语不久,有可能说的不好,有的还不敢说,课堂上要以表扬为主,注重培养学习英语的兴趣,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱!
教学步骤
Step1 Warming up.(4mins)
1、Greeting.
2、Stating the rules and dividing the children into three groups.
3、Enjoying a piece of video ‘Touch your eyes’.
4、Reviewing the words:yellow,brown,black,red,big,small.
Step2 Presentation(11mins)
1、Drawing a picture on the blackboard(one by one)
2、Let the pupils to guess organs.
3、Showing the new words with word cards when drawing the related organs.
hair — yellow(different color) hair — She/He has yellow hair.
(拓展:long hair / short hair)
nose — a big/small nose — She/He has a big/small nose.
mouth — a big/small mouth — She/He has a big/small mouth.
eye—one eye/two eyes—big /small eyes—She/He has big/small eyes.
(拓展:blue eyes/ brown eyes)
ear—one ear/two ears—big /small ears—She/He has big/small ears.
face — a funny face — She/He has a funny face.
- Let’s play
通过打地鼠的游戏复习新词。
(小组读,同桌两人读,抽读,男女读。并作出相应的贴纸奖励)
Step3 Practice and consolidation(13mins)
1、Let’s say
Teacher leads the pupils to find out the features from the pictures. Pupils use the sentence to describe them.
(Pay attention to the using of singular and plural words when having a describe. Teacher encourage the pupils and gives awards to them.)
- Can you make a funny face?
Teacher choose the students to show their funny face in the front of the classroom.
3、Let’s sing.
Singing a song named ‘Joker has a funny face’
Let the students to make a new song.
Step4: Conversation.
1、Let’s try.
Pair work:Choosing one picture, then working with your partner to describe it.
2、Let’s enjoy.
Let’s enjoy a piece of video about some funny face.
3、Let’s talk.
Working with your group members to make a funny face. When making a funny face with the plasticine, pupils should discuss their work. After finishing the work, pupils should show their work to the classmates and each member should describe the work one by one.
4、Let’s check.
Let’s check which group is the winner today!
Step5: Homework
Drawing a picture for your parents、friends or classmates. Using the new words and sentence to describe your work.
