1教学目标
1.知识技能目标
a. 能听、说、认读 big, small, long, short 等单词。
b. 能听懂、会说 The rabbit has a small nose. And big eyes. 并能在实际情景中运用。
c. 学会用适当的形容词描述某一种动物。
2.情感文化目标
a.帮助学生熟练学习自信心,养成良好的学习习惯,培养学生的合作能力,积极运用所学语言表达和交流。
b.热爱大自然,保护动物。
2学情分析
本课内容是在掌握了二单元Lesson1描述人物外貌特征词汇和句型的基础上,进而描述动物外貌特征。
3重点难点
1.学习、掌握词汇、词组:big, small, long, short,并能熟练运用。
2.重点句型:The rabbit has a small nose. And big eyes.
3.难点:描述过程中注意单词的单复数形式。

Then show the cards (which only have letters) Ss say the words:

Ss may answer like these:

1. Presentation of the new words
T show the picture of a rabbit.

Now, open your exercise book,
Do the Task 1 by yourself on P17.
Ss do the Task 1 and make sure whether can read the new words:

T write the sentences on the blackboard:
Mr. Rabbit has _____ nose.
He has ______ mouth.
Ss listen to the tape, then finish the blanks.
