Teaching content: 重大版students’ book of grade 4.The title is Unit4 Where is Lucy from? Lesson1

Teaching hour: One class hour (40 minutes)

I. Teaching Aims:

1. Learn and master new words (USA, UK, China, Canada, Australia ) and sentence patterns.( Where is she / he from? She’s / He’s from…… )

2. Enable the students to talk in English about sentence patterns.( Where is she / he from? She’s / He’s from…… )

3. Develop the students speaking ability.

II. Teaching Main Points:

1. Improve the students’ speaking ability.

2. Master sentence patterns.

1. Question-and-answer activities to help the students to go through the whole class.

Step1: Greeting.

Step2: lead-in

T: Boys and girls, do you like sports?(教师做跑步，游泳，打篮球的动作提示学生sports的意思)

  教师展示视频，用伦敦奥运会闭幕式引入。

Step3: Presentation

1. T：As we know, there are many sports players ,Which one do you like best?  教师点击“姚明”，“姚明”做自我介绍。教师提问学生

T：What’s his name?

S: His name is Yao Ming.

T: Where is he from? 教师边说边展示课件，（教师把此句型板书黑板）教师试图引导学生说出 He’s from the China.(教师板书)

老师边说边展示美国国旗,教读新单词China，之后把中国国旗贴在黑板上)。

教读方式：教师手拿中国国旗（学生根据国旗的高低改变声调）

教师教读句型：Where is he from?

              He’s from China.

教读方式：教师问，学生答。学生问，教师答。

          男生问，女生答。女生问，男生答

          个别抽读

2.教师根据学生的喜好点击其他4个国家的 运动员，USA, UK, Canada, Australia, 每个运动员都和学生打招呼。

  T：教师提问学生Where is she/ he from?

                     She’s He’s from USA/UK/Canada/ Australia.

老师边说边展示美国国旗/英国国旗/加拿大国旗/澳大利亚国旗，教读新单词USA/UK/Canada/ Australia，之后把美国国旗/英国国旗/加拿大国旗/澳大利亚国旗贴在黑板上)。

教读方式：教师手拿美国国旗/英国国旗/加拿大国旗/澳大利亚国旗（分男女生读）

教师教读句型：Where is she/ he from?

                 She’s He’s from USA/UK/Canada/ Australia.

教读方式：教师问，学生答。学生问，教师答。

             男生问，女生答。女生问，男生答。

              个别抽读

Step5: Practice.

     1. Let’s play ! (此步骤进一步巩固本节课5个 新单词)

Step6: Consolidation

Role play.小组合作（前后四人一组）

教师于每个组发卡片，让每组学生共同完成task(填写单词).小组成员一起练习对话，角色扮演 Hao Tian, Lu Hua , Lucy.

教师和学生共同总结本节课所学知识
