语态是动词的一种形式，表示主语和谓语动词之间的具体关系，分为主动语态和被动语态。主动语态中主语是动作的执行者，被动语态中主语是动作的承受者。1. 被动语态的构成(1)构成：被动语态由“系动词be＋动词过去分词”构成。它和主动语态一样有人称、数和时态的变化，主要通过系动词be的变化来体现。

3. 主动结构表示被动意义的情况(1)不及物动词： pen, read, sell, write, lck, clean, watch, cut, burn, drive等作不及物动词且它们的主语为物时，可用主动结构表示被动意义。如：This strybk sells well. 这本故事书卖得很好。(2)系动词：smell, lk, taste, feel, sund等系动词描述某物特性时，用主动形式表被动意义。如：Light music sunds beautiful. 轻音乐听起来很美。
(3)“值得”： be wrth ding中，ding表示被动意义。如： The film is wrth seeing. 这部电影值得一看。(4)“需要，想要”： want/need/require＋ding＝want/need/require＋t be dne(t be dne 是不定式的被动结构)。如：The windw needs cleaning.＝The windw needs t be cleaned.这个窗户需要擦一下。【注意】表示“发生”的happen或take place 无被动结构。如：Earthquakes always happen suddenly.地震总是突然发生。[八(上)Mdule 12 P98]
