    在师生自由、轻松的问答活动中,复习旧知。通过特定图片呈现特定的单词,让学生初步感知字母y在单词中的发音,引出新知。

    ·学生能够通过听例词发音,观察例词结构中共有的特征,学习字母y在词尾发/i/的规律

    ·学生能够听录音为单词标序号,巩固学习y和其他已学字母或字母组合的音—形对应关系
    ·学生能够通过看图、听录音、写单词活动学习根据发音规则拼写单词,并能够按照正确的书写规则在单线上抄写句子
    Step 1: Warm-up & Revisin & Lead-in
    1. Greetings.
    2. Free talk.
    Shw a picture f a funny teacher with the name “Cindy” first. (出示课件) Then ask students t answer sme questins accrding t the picture. The fllwing sentences can be shwed beside the picture n the PPT.
    T: Wh’s this teacher? Ss: Cindy.
    T: Is she funny? Ss: Yes, she is.
    Then shw a picture f a happy baby with these wrds: Cindy’s baby. (出示课件) Pint t the picture and ask.
    T: Wh’s he? Ss: He’s Cindy’s baby.
    T: Is he happy? Ss: Yes, he is.

    Make all the wrds disappear except these wrds “Cindy, funny, baby, happy”. (出示课件) Ask students t bserve these wrds and answer the questin: What can yu find?

    Shw different clurs n the letter “y” f every wrd. Ask students t read these wrds carefully and answer the questin: What’s the sund f the letter “y” in every wrd? Let students read these wrds and perceive the sund /i/ f the letter “y”. Help students t sum up: The letter “y” has the /i/ sund in these wrds.

    2. Read, listen and chant.
    (1)Shw the pictures f “Read, listen and chant” ne by ne with the recrding f the wrds. (出示课件) Let students read after the recrding. Pay attentin t the sund f the red letter “y” in every wrd.
    (2)Read these wrds like this: ba-by, baby, win-dy, windy… Ask students t try t imitate. Let students practice the sund f the letter “y” in these wrds.
    (3)Explain the prnunciatin methd f /i/. Help students knw /i/ thrugh the vide n teaching f phnetic symbls. (the BBC vide n teaching f phnetic symbls)
    (4)Shw sme wrds “heavy, study, busy, carry, cludy, fggy, rainy, friendly, lvely, carefully, twenty, thirty, frty”. (出示课件) Let students try t read them.
    (5)Play the recrding f the chant. (出示课件) Let students listen t it and find ut the wrds that have the sund /i/.
    (6)Shw the chant n the PPT. (出示课件) Students listen t it again. Ask sme students t say ut the wrds with the letter “y” that sunds /i/ in the chant.
    (7)Play the chant. Let students chant after it. After reading tgether, ask students t practice it between bys and girls. Bys say a sentence and girls say a sentence. Then they can exchange. (课件出示:教材P6 Read, listen and chant的听力材料)

    采用听一听、标数字、说一说、写一写等方式进行操练,进一步巩固和加强学生对字母y发音的认识和记忆。
    Step 3: Practice
    1. Listen, number and say.
    (1)Ask students t read the tpic and understand the intentin.
    (2)Play the recrding and let students number. (出示课件)
    (3)Play the recrding again. Then check the answers.(出示课件)
    (4)Lead students t read like this: can-dy, candy, par-ty, party… Then let students read all these wrds tgether.
    (5)Play a game: I say and yu say.
    The teacher says the number and students say the crrespnding wrd accrding t the answer. Then S1 says the number and S2 says the crrespnding wrd.
    2. Listen, write and say.
    (1)Lk and say.
    Shw sme pictures. Lead students t say sentences accrding t the pictures. One r mre wrds with the letter “y” can be in the sentences.
    Make a mdel.
    These sentences can be used: I’m srry. It’s sunny/cludy. They g t the party. I like candy. The family is happy.
    (2)Ask students t bserve the pictures f the third part f “Let’s spell” n page 6. Lead them t talk abut the pictures and predict the answers.
    (3)Play the recrding. (出示课件) Let students listen t the recrding and try t write dwn the answers.
    (4)Play the recrding again and check the answers with students. (出示课件) Then ask students t read the sentences tgether.

    通过拼读、分类和游戏等活动,总结和操练字母y在单词中的不同发音,提高学生的语言识别能力。让学生在搜集和整理含有字母y的单词的过程中,进一步巩固新知,增强小组合作精神,调动积极性,提升自主学习能力。

    1. Read and judge.
    Shw the wrds “baby, happy, sunny, srry, windy” n the PPT. (出示课件) Let students read these wrds and pay attentin t the prnunciatin f the letter “y” in these wrds. Write dwn the sund /i/ n the blackbard.
    T: Yes! Yu are right.
    Write dwn the wrd “yes” n the blackbard and say: It has the letter “y”, t. Des it sund /i/, t?
    Lead students t read the wrd and get the cnclusin: It sunds /j/. Shw ther wrds “yung, yellw, yy…” (出示课件)Let students read them and judge the sund f the letter “y”. Write dwn the sund /j/ n the blackbard.
    2. Lk and say.
    Shw a picture n the PPT. In the picture, a by is flying a kite. (出示课件) Say: Lk, my brther is flying a kite. Expand the wrds “my, fly”. Ask students t read them and find ut the sund f the letter “y”. Shw mre wrds “sky, shy…” Write dwn the sund /aɪ/ n the blackbard.
    3. Sum up.
    Help students t sum up the prnunciatin rules f the letter “y” in different wrds.
    4. Game time.
    Shw several grups f wrds cntaining the letter “y”. The grups f wrds are: sunny/yes, family/sky, yung/candy, funny/party, srry/my, yellw/baby, happy/many. (出示课件) If the letters “y” have the same sund, students say: Yes. If they have the different sunds, students can say: Srry.
    5. Find and classify.
    Divide the class int several grups. Ask students t find mre wrds with the letter “y”. Ask them t read ut and classify the wrds accrding t the sunds. At last chse a student frm each grup t shw their results in class. Give awards t the grups which d a gd jb.
