Greetings (师生之间打招呼问候) Sing the song—Who’s your teacher? Play a game—Magic eyes Let students look and say the words quickly.看图快速说出单词。 Lead in (1)播放机器人相关视频,学习单词robot。Play a video about robots. Let students guess what they are. Then show some robots and point to them and spell the word “robot”—ro-bot, robot. Lead students to read. Ask students how many robots they can see. Then lead students to practice it in sentence: They are robots. (2)讨论机器人相关话题,导入新课学习。 T: What can Robots do? Do you know? Ss: ... Show some pictures, then lead students to talk about robots. | ||||

1. Read and write (1)呈现Wu Binbin和Robin图片,看图提问导入第一部分课文学习。 T: Wu Binbin has a new friend. It’s a robot. What’s the robot’s name? Who made it? Here is a diary of Wu Binbin. Let’s read his diary. Show the diary on the PPT. Explain the format of the diary.Then show Paragraph 1 on the PPT and let students try to underline the key sentences about the answers. T: What’s the robot’s name? Ss: Robin. T: Who made the robot? Let students read the first paragraph and answer the question. Ss: Wu Binbin’s grandpa. T: How do you know? Lead students to underline the sentence. Then check the answers together. (2)学习日记第二—四部分。 T: What’s Robin like? Now read the text loudly from the second paragraph to the fourth paragraph. Circle the key words. T: What’s Robin look like? Is he tall? Is he strong? Ss: No, he is short. Yes, he is strong. T: Very good. He is short but strong. Show a chant on the PPT. Let students chant together. (3)阅读日记回答问题,讲解重点句型。 a. Is Robin clever? Why? b. Robin is strict. Why? Check the answers with students and ask. T: How do you know? Where can you find the answers? Please read them out. Help students understand the meaning of “speak”. When students read the sentence “He makes me finish my homework.”, the teacher can ask: Who makes you finish your homework? (4)听音频并模仿课文,完成习题。 a. 听音频仿读课文。Students listen and imitate. Pay attention to the intonation, the stress, the pause and the sense. b. 呈现课本打勾打叉表,学生完成Show the form on page 9. Let students tick or cross. Check the answers with students. (5)学生根据日记内容填空,尝试复述故事,介绍Robin。 Show the diary with some blanks. Lead students to read and fill in the blanks. The answers are: Robin, made, strong, clever, hard-working, helpful, strict, makes, finish my homework. Students try to retell the diary according to the key words and phrase. (6)设计你自己的机器人。Ask students to design a robot of their own, draw and write about him/her. The teacher can make a model first. At last students can have a show. Practice. 2. Let’s check (1)呈现“Listen and circle” 句子,理解题目要求. Ask students to read the two sentences and understand the requirements of the title. (2)听音频圈出单词,核对答案。Play the recording. Ask students to judge the answer to the first sentence and circle the answer to the second sentence. Then check the answer with students. (3)再次听音频回答问题。 T: What are the two teachers like? Look at the second part of “Let’s check”. Listen again and answer by writing the answers on the lines. Write down the key words first. And then finish the whole sentences. Play the recording. Let students write down the answers. Then check the answers with students. 3. Let’s wrap it up (1)动画呈现单词构成方式,引导学生总结规律。Lead students to know that “is” is behind the personal pronouns “he, she, it”,“are” is behind the personal pronouns “we, you, they”,“am” is behind the personal pronoun “I”. (2)完成“Let’s wrap it up”习题并核对答案。Ask students to finish the task of “Think and match”. Check the answers and sum up the collocation rules with students. | ||||
