Ludwig van BeethvenLudwig van Beethven (1770-1827) was brn in Germany. He started his musical training when he was five years ld, and his teachers wrked him s hard that he ften cried. He started writing music when he was nineteen, and tw years later he mved t Vienna t study music and perfrm. Beethven first became famus as a pianist. Hwever, by 1800, his musical wrks were s ppular that he was thught f by many as the mst imprtant cmpser f his generatin.
During this same perid, he slwly became deaf. Even thugh he culd nt hear with his ears, he culd still write music because he culd hear music in his head. Mst f his greatest musical wrks were cmpleted after he became deaf. In the later part f his life, he had many health and mney issues. He was als lnely because the wman he lved and wanted t marry had left him. His friends tried t help him thrugh his dark times, but his life became marked by sadness. He died after a lng illness in 1827.
