    【教材分析】
    The theme f “Listening and Speaking” is “Chse a schl club”. Students will have a general understanding f different schl clubs by listening and ultimately can make reasnable suggestins n the chice f clubs and make crrect chices. Schl clubs are an imprtant part f students’ campus life, as well as an imprtant study t expand students’ extracurricular knwledge, develp their skills and cultivate their interests.
    Listening text f “Listening and Speaking” cnsists f tw parts. The first part is abut the dialgue between teachers and students in the activities f the schl clubs, which makes situatinal preparatins fr chsing a suitable clubs. The secnd part is the dialgue between Adam and Julie as senir high schl students t discuss hw t chse the right ne.
    The theme f “Listening & Talking” is “Plan a camp fr teenagers” Nwadays, mre and mre high schl students are interested in participating in varius camp activities, and take this pprtunity t make friends, braden their hrizns and train their teams’ spiritual and cmmunicatin skills. The purpse f this sectin is t stimulate students’ imaginatin, plan a camp activity that their peers like and t use “be ging t + verb primitive” and “will + verb primitive” t express future intentins r plans.
    Listening Text f “Listening & Talking” is a dialgue, where Max and Ca Jing talk abut their participatin in adventure camps and internatinal yuth camps n weekends.
    In the plan, the tw men intrduced the activities f the camp and expressed their expectatins fr the life f the camp. The dialgue highlights “be ging t + verb” and “will + verb” are tw structures used t express what will be dne in the future.
    【教学目标与核心素养】
    1. Instruct students t get main facts by listening and mtivate them t talk abut the tpics abut hw t chse a right schl club, hw t plan a camp fr the future, and hw t talk abut future activities.
    2. Develp students’ sense f cperative learning and individual thinking capability.
    3. Develp students’ different listening skills t slve different listening cmprehensive prblems.
    4. Help students t understand hw t use the structures “be ging t d, will d, plan t d, there will be, hpe t d” t discuss their future plans and activities.

    The teacher is advised t talk with their students abut schl clubs that they were in when they were at junir high schl: bys and girls, have yu ever taken part in any schl clubs befre and why yu chse them? After the small talk, the teacher can mve n by finishing the fllwing listening task:
    Listen t the first tw cnversatins and chse the crrect answers.

    2. The students are discussing in Cnversatin 2.

    Learning tip:
    After finishing the task abve, the teacher is expected t play Cnversatin 3 which is abut hw t help Adam chse a right club and after finishing listening fr the first time, the students need t slve the fllwing task.
