3. 能够读懂介绍祖国、家乡的文章,了解文章主旨,并理解文章中的细节信息。
4. 能够参照范例,用所学语言简单介绍自己的家乡。

2. 能读懂表方位和位置的语篇内容。
难点:1. 形容词比较级形式及其使用。
2. 用所学的词汇和句型写一篇介绍家乡的文章。

四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1. Lk at the picture and talk abut the questins.
2. Play a guessing game.
【设计意图】通过关于家或家乡的名句激活学生关于家乡话题的背景知识,调动起学生的学习兴趣;通过猜谜游戏让学生初步了解四个方向的英文表达,自然导入本课话题。
Step 2 Pre-reading
Learn sme new wrds and expressin.
【设计意图】全班学习,个人学习到同桌学习循序渐进,为后面的学习奠定基础。
Activity 1
1. Ask Ss t lk at the map and tell what it shws.
2. Ask Ss t read the fur sentences, and repeat them chrally and individually.
【设计意图】旨在让学生通过看地图和读句子感知方位介词的使用,为理解下面的阅读文章作铺垫。
Step 3 While-reading
Activity 2
1. Ask Ss t read the passage and chse a title fr each picture.
2. Ask Ss t read Para. 1 & 2 and Para. 3 & 4 carefully, finish different tasks and check answers.
Activity 3
1. Ask Ss t lk thrugh the table and make sure they understand what they have t d.
2. Ask Ss t read the passage again in detail and cmplete the table n their wn.
3. Ask Ss t cmpare their answers with their partners, and then elicit answers in full sentences frm the whle class.
