1. 掌握词汇:experience, stay, smene, fr the first time, sandwich, gentleman, shulder
2. 掌握句型:
(1) Fr example, yu must say Mr r Mrs when yu meet smene fr the first time.
(2) Yu can buy it and eat it in special fish and chip shps n the high street, r yu can take
it away and eat it with yur fingers!
(3) At the bus stp yu must nt push yur way nt the bus.
3. 学习和运用表达“民俗风情”的词汇及情态动词。
4. 能够读懂关于英语传统生活习俗的文章。
5. 能够写出介绍中国习俗的活动。
6. 能够增强跨文化意识,培养文化包容心。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:掌握本篇文章,并能正确朗读。
难点:在了解本段文章的基础上,可以写出介绍中国习俗的小作文。
三、教学准备
1. 多媒体设备和课件;
2. 设计课后巩固练习;
3. 教学图片。
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. T shws sme pictures abut Chinese traditins and asks the Ss t watch and talk abut them.
2. T shws sme Chinese traditins and asks Ss t read.
【设计意图】通过展示中国传统风俗图片,吸引学生注意力,导入新课。
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. T shws sme pictures ne by ne and asks the class t watch and read the new wrds.
【设计意图】通过看图片学单词,帮助学生理解和记忆新单词。
2. Ss wrk in pairs and talk abut what they can see in the pictures.
【设计意图】学生两人一组观察图片,讨论人们日常生活中的行为习惯,为进一步了解东西方的不同文化做铺垫。
Step 3 While-reading
1. Ss read the passage quickly and try t find the answers t the questin “Which sentences describe what yu can see in the pictures in Activity 1?”
2. T asks Ss t read Paragraphs 1 and 2, then d the tasks.
3. T asks the class t read Paragraphs 3 and 4, then answer the questins.
4. Ss read Paragraph 5 and fill in the blanks.
5. T asks Ss t read the whle passage and chse the crrect answer.

句中的stay表示“停留,逗留”,是一个名词。
(2) Fr example, yu must say Mr r Mrs when yu meet smene fr the first time.
must表示必须做某事,书中这句话译为初次与人见面时,必须称呼对方“先生”或“女士”。
(3) At the bus stp yu must nt push yur way nt the bus.
must nt表示不能做某事,不准做某事。这句话译为在公交站,你不能挤着上车。
(4) Yu can buy it and eat it in special fish and chip shps n the high street, r yu can take it away and eat it with yur fingers!
can 表示可以做某事,这句话译为你可以在大街上专卖炸鱼加薯条的商店购买并在店里食用,也可以带走,直接用手拿着吃。
