    Last summer, I wrked as a vlunteer teacher in a village schl in Guizhu Prvince, which prved t be a challenging yet rewarding experience. When I heard abut the vlunteering pprtunity, I immediately sent an applicatin frm. After several days f waiting, I was infrmed that I was chsen. Packing sme daily necessities, I set ff fr the village, imagining that I culd make a difference there.
    Nt everything lived up t my hpes, hwever. The cnditins were tugher than I had thught. And the fact that there weren’t any textbks almst made me want t quit. It was the kids that changed my idea. They were s eager t get invlved, which encuraged me t wrk mre devtedly. Once, I rganized a sprts meeting in the field and we had the best time tgether.
    When it was time t say gdbye, we were all reluctant t part frm each ther. That scene is still clear in my mind nw. It was the best summer ever.
