      But Crnwell had never seen him befre. Nticing Crnwell’s hesitatin, the man tk ut his driver’s license, tld her his full name and said, “I can start yur car fr yu, but I wuld have t fllw yu hme because if yu hit a pt hle, yu might shut dwn and I’d have t start the car again.”
      A feeling f anxiety washed ver Crnwell. She tld the man that she needed t call her father. Tgether, they walked t a nearby payphne. When Crnwell’s father answered, she explained the situatin and tld him the man’s name. T her surprise, her father tld her t g ahead and let the man start the car.
      “I’m thinking, like, ‘Is he just t asleep t understand what I’m telling him?’ S I said, ‘Dad, I dn’t even knw the guy.’ And Dad says, ‘Yeah, sure, sure. I knw when t expect yu, and it’ll be fine.’”
