      I’m writing t aplgize fr my bad manners when receiving yu gift at my birthday party. Thugh I never meant t hurt yu, yu might have felt uneasy.
      The fact is that I frgt the differences between Chinese and American cultures when giving and receiving gifts. A Chinese usually des nt pen a gift in the presence f the giver, while an American tends t pen it immediately when he gets it . In fact, I like yur gift very much.
      Please excuse my thughtlessness. I will educate myself further abut American culture and try t prevent smething like that frm happening again.
