Jhan is a by frm a small village in Malawi. He lives with his parents and three yunger sisters. His family depended entirely n their small piece f land. The harvest used t be s bad that they culd nly eat ne simple meal a day. Therefre, Jhan ften went t bed hungry, which made him feel tired and weak all the time.One day, a Wrld Fd Prgramme (WFP) fficer visited Jhan’s village schl t assess the children’s health. He learnt abut the cnditins f children like Jhan. He explained that gd nutritin is essential fr children t grw, learn and stay healthy.Sn after, a “schl meals” prgramme began at Jhan’s schl, supprted by WFP.
