- 学生已经学习过 Unit 1 Life Chices 和 Unit 2Sprts and Fitness，对英语语法和词汇有了一定的了解。
- 学生可能已经了解了一些中国的传统习俗，如吃饺子、放鞭炮等， 对中国的传统文化有一定的了解。
- 学生可能已经了解了一些其他国家的庆祝方式，如美国的 Thanksgiving和加拿大的 Christmas，对不同国家的文化有一定的认识。
2. 学生的学习兴趣、能力和学习风格：
- 学生对节日和文化有浓厚的兴趣，愿意了解不同国家的庆祝方式和传统习俗。

四、教学内容与任务
本单元围绕 celebratins 话题展开，以多种语篇的形式呈现了各种不同的庆祝活动，其中春节是中国的重要传统节日，有独特的意义。Lessn 1
Spring Festival 为阅读语篇，描写了三位不同年龄段，不同背景的人对春节的不同体会和感受，属于“人与社会 ”主题。其主题意义在于激发学生对春节的意义进行思考，并理解春节的精神—家庭精神。
五、教学目标
本课结束时，学生能够：
1，查读文章快速扫描出特定的细节信息。
2，获取梳理描述有关春节的事实性信息。(节前准备，节中的活动以及感受)，梳理出每个语篇的信息结构图。
3，在阅读文章基础上，能够比较总结春节对于不同人的意义。
4，了解春节的意义，习俗及过节流程, 领悟辞旧迎新，阖家团圆是春节永恒的主题。
