At the age f 1 year and 152 days, Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah frm Ghana was the wrld’s yungest male artist. His mther Chantelle, als an artist, discvered his passin when he was just 6 mnths ld. While learning t crawl, she gave him paint n a canvas t keep him busy — and he created his first artwrk, The Crawl.
Since then, Ace-Liam has gained attentin frm the media and even Ghana’s First Lady. “He has created a natural cnversatin abut art appreciatin and nurturing (培育) talent in kids,” the First Lady said. He has made ver 20 paintings and participated in his first grup exhibitin, where nine f his ten displayed wrks were sld.
Ace-Liam lves the feel f paint, bright clrs, and expressing himself freely. “It’s a fun and creative utlet,” his mther explained. He ften asks t paint, and his abstract wrks are inspired by clrs, shapes, textures, and his md. “Every painting shws his curisity and jy,” Chantelle added.
His painting sessins are natural. He chses the canvas and clrs, asks fr help pening paint bttles, and then paints carefully but freely. A sessin can last frm minutes t half an hur. Smetimes he returns days later t finish. When dne, he says, “Mama finish.”
After his recrd was cnfirmed, his family began lking fr pprtunities t nurture his talent thrugh quality educatin and internatinal expsure. Chantelle advises parents t encurage children’s interests early: “Every child is unique, and nurturing their passins can lead t amazing achievements.”
