“Lk!” my brther shuted. “I can see the fire ver there!” I had my phne ut. I was ready t call fr help.My dad shuted, “Wildfire! Let’s run back!” My mther shuted, “Be quick! And be careful!” My father called the firefighters and tld them that a wild fire had brken ut here. Then we ran dwn the muntains. At last, we were safe. And the firefights came, they put ut the fire.
Suddenly, I heard a lud crack — a big branch brke because f the heavy snw. Then all the lights went ut. We were in cmplete darkness.My mther lit sme candles while my father checked the windw. We heard a knck n the dr. It was ur neighbr. “My wife is sick. Can yu help?” he asked. My father fllwed him int the snwstrm. Tw hurs later, he came back and said, “She’s fine nw.”Althugh the snwstrm was scary, it brught ur neighbrs clser tgether.
