询问他人（第三人称单数）正在做某事
问句是现在进行时的特殊疑问句，what 意为“什么”主语是第三人称单数，故be动词要用is答语中主语要用相应的人称代词he 或she 指代

一般情况下，直接在动词词尾加-ing
以不发音的字母e结尾的动词，先去掉e，再加-ing
以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词，双写末尾辅音字母，再加-ing

重读闭音节三要素：1. 音节重读 2. 末尾音节为“辅音+元音+辅音”3.“辅音+元音+辅音”中的元音发短音
动词-ing 形式的构成口诀：动词-ing 很好记，一般情况加-ing。词尾若有哑音e，去e 再加没问题。一辅重读闭音节，末尾字母要双写。

主语（第三人称单数）+is+动词-ing形式（+其他）
“be 动词+动词-ing 形式”是现在进行时的标志；此句型中主语为第三人称单数，故be 动词用is现在进行时的标志词通常有lk（看）、listen （听）、nw（现在）等
