Every year, ur schl hlds a “Reading Mnth” activity in March. The main purpse f this activity is t encurage students t read mre bks and develp a gd reading habit. Reading can nt nly help students gain mre knwledge but als imprve their thinking ability and writing skills.
During the “Reading Mnth”, the schl rganizes many interesting activities. Fr example, there are bk sharing meetings where students can talk abut their favrite bks and share their reading experiences. There are als reading cmpetitins where students need t answer questins abut the bks they have read. The schl advises each student t read at least 5 bks during the mnth, and teachers will help students chse suitable bks accrding t their interests and grades.
At the end f the “Reading Mnth”, the schl will award students wh read the mst bks and thse wh perfrm well in the reading cmpetitins. This activity has been very ppular amng students, and many students say they have learned a lt frm it.
