      This part takes a farm as the theme and cnsists f a series f activities frm 1a t 1e. 1a is a pre - reading activity, in which students bserve the theme picture, identify the plants and animals in the picture, cmplete the vcabulary matching, and crrect the wrng descriptins. 1b - 1c are reading cmprehensin activities. Students read the text and circle the things mentined in the picture, then cmplete semi - pen sentences and prvide cmplete answers accrding t the text. 1d - 1e are writing tasks. Students describe the things in the farm they see with cherent sentences by imitating the sentence patterns in the reading text. The whle part is a cmplete reading - writing task chain, reflecting the design cncept f prmting writing thrugh reading.
      Vcabulary
      Farm Animals: pig, hrse, cw, duck, sheep, chicken
      Scenery: grass, huse
      Sentence Patterns
      Asking abut the clr: What clr Fr example, "What clr is his uncle’s huse?"
      Asking abut the quantity: Hw many... are there? / Hw many... d yu see? Fr example, "Hw many ducks des my uncle have?" "Hw many cws d yu see?"
      Grammar
      The use f plural frms f nuns. Fr example, "pigs", "hrses", "cws" etc.
      教学过程
      I. Lead - in (5 minutes)
      Greet the students with enthusiasm. Then, shw them a shrt and vivid vide abut a beautiful farm. The vide shuld include varius animals like cws, hrses, and sheep, as well as different plants and farm - related scenery. After the vide, ask students sme simple questins, such as "What did yu see in the vide? What animals were there? Did yu like the farm in the vide?" This can quickly attract students' attentin and aruse their interest in the tpic f the farm.
      Present a picture f a yard n the PPT. Recall the vcabulary and sentence patterns learned in Sectin A by asking students t describe the things in the yard using sentences like "What's this/that? What are these/thse? What clr is it/are they?" This helps t review the previus knwledge and smthly lead t the new cntent abut the farm.
      II. Wrk n 1a (8 minutes)
      Display the picture in 1a n the big screen. Encurage students t describe what they can see n the farm freely. Guide them t use wrds they already knw t express, like "I can see sme animals." r "There are sme trees n the farm."
      Present a list f farm items n the PPT, including black and white cws, a small lake, black rabbits, etc. Explain the new wrds r phrases briefly if there are any. Then, ask students t tick the things they see n the farm in their textbks.
      Walk arund the classrm t mnitr students' prgress. After they finish, have a quick check with the whle class. Invite sme students t share their answers and crrect any misunderstandings immediately. Fr example, if sme students are cnfused abut the difference between "sheep" and "gat", shw them clear pictures f bth and explain the characteristics.
      III. Wrk n 1b (10 minutes)
      Set the scene fr the text. Tell students that they are ging t read a descriptin f a farm frm a by named Han Lin. Explain sme key wrds and phrases befre reading, such as "uncle's farm", "kinds f", "behind the tree".
      Instruct students t read the text in 1b silently. While they are reading, ask them t circle the things Han Lin mentins in the text. This helps them t fcus n the main infrmatin in the text.
      Play the recrding f the text. Let students listen carefully and fllw the text at the same time. They can check if the things they circled are crrect. After that, explain sme imprtant sentences in the text, fr example, "This is my uncle's farm. It's a big farm." Teach students hw t use this sentence pattern t intrduce a place. Als, explain "Yu can see many kinds f animals." t let them knw hw t express the existence f varius things.
      IV. Wrk n 1c (8 minutes)
      Ask students t read the text in 1b again. This time, they need t cmplete the sentences in 1c. Walk arund the classrm t ffer help if students have difficulties.
      After students finish, check the answers tgether. Invite students t explain their reasning fr each answer. Fr example, fr the sentence "My uncle has _ white ducks.", students shuld be able t find the relevant infrmatin in the text, like "He has twelve white ducks." and give the crrect answer. This nt nly helps t check students' understanding f the text but als trains their ability t extract infrmatin frm the text.
      V. Wrk n 1d (10 minutes)
      Encurage students t lk at the picture in 1a again and think abut mre questins they can ask abut the quantity and clr f the bjects and animals n the farm.
      Divide the students int pairs. Each pair shuld take turns t ask and answer questins. One student asks a questin like "Hw many hrses are there? What clr are the cws?" and the ther student answers accrding t the picture and the text. Walk arund the classrm t listen t their cnversatins. If sme pairs make mistakes in grammar, vcabulary, r prnunciatin, crrect them gently and give examples fr imprvement.
      Select several pairs t cme t the frnt f the class and shw their cnversatins. The rest f the students listen carefully. After each pair finishes, give them psitive feedback, such as praising their clear prnunciatin, crrect use f sentence patterns, and gd cperatin.
      VI. Wrk n 1e (10 minutes)
      Intrduce the writing task in 1e. Explain t students that they are ging t write abut the farm in 1a in their wn wrds. Shw them a simple writing framewrk n the PPT, fr example:
      This is a beautiful farm.
      There are many kinds f animals n the farm.
      The cws are black and white. They are big.
      There are _ hrses. They are _.
      The huse n the farm is _.
      Let students start writing. They can refer t the text in 1b, the picture in 1a, and the cnversatins they had in 1d. Walk arund the classrm t ffer guidance. If sme students have truble starting t write r rganizing their ideas, give them sme suggestins, like starting with a general intrductin f the farm and then describing the animals and scenery ne by ne.
      After students finish writing, ask them t exchange their writings with their partners. They shuld read their partners' writings and give sme simple cmments, such as "Yur descriptin f the animals is very vivid." r "Yu can add mre details abut the clr f the plants." Then, students can revise their wn writings accrding t their partners' cmments.
      VII. Summary (4 minutes)
      Review the key vcabulary learned in this class, including the names f farm animals and scenery, by writing them n the blackbard and asking students t read them tgether.
      Summarize the imprtant sentence patterns used t describe the farm, such as "This is...", "There are...", "Hw many... are there?", "What clr is/are...". Let students make sme sentences by themselves t ensure they have mastered these patterns.
      Ask students t share what they have learned and what they are still cnfused abut in this class. Listen t their pinins and answer their questins patiently.
      VIII. Hmewrk Assignment (5 minutes)
      Ask students t g hme and write a mre detailed descriptin f their ideal farm. They need t include at least 8 sentences, using the vcabulary and sentence patterns learned in this class. They can als draw a simple picture f their ideal farm beside their writing.
      Encurage students t find sme English - language pictures r shrt texts abut farms n the Internet r in bks. They can bring them t class next time and share with their classmates. This can help students expand their knwledge abut farms and imprve their English - learning interest.
