      Share ne travel destinatin.
      First, let’s invite a few students t share ne travel destinatin yu like r want t visit—yu can just say its name and a simple reasn.
      Activity 2: Read, mark and discuss
      Mark the sentences with “have/has been” r “have/has gne” in Daniel and Millie’s cnversatin in Part A.
      Wrk in grups and discuss.
      ● When d we use “have/has been”? ● And when d we use “have/has gne”?
      Summarize the rules f “have/has been” and “have/has gne”.
      Activity 3: Read and cmplete
      Read the situatins and cmplete the sentences with “have/has been” r “have/has gne”.
      Fill in the blanks in Part A1.
      Activity 4: Read, think and summarize
      Read the text in Part B and circle the time adverbials in these sentences.
      Think abut the questin.
      ● What d “fr”and “since” tell us? D they refer t a perid f time r a specific past time?
      Summarize these wrds.
      Activity 5: Cmpare and summarize
      Read the sentences and think abut the difference between “fr” and “since”.
      Fr: She has waited fr yu fr tw hurs. We have lived here fr ten years.Since: He has lved painting since he was five. They have wrked here since 2021.
      Lk at the sentences. What cmes after “fr”? ( A perid f time, like tw hurs, ten years) What cmes after “since”? (A specific past time r past event, like he was five, 2021)
      Summarize the key difference.

      Activity 6: Practise and check
      Finish the exercises independently. Use the hints and cnnect yur answers t yur real English learning experiences fr Exercise 3.
      Activity 7: Cmplete and interview
      Cmplete the Part A2 independently, then check answers with yur deskmate and explain yur chices fr each blank.
      Cmplete the exercises based n the given cntext.
      Example: Tm ___________ t the library (still there). My father ________________ t Beijing twice. (and returned)
      Instruct students t interview classmates using prmpts such as “Have yu been ” and “Where have yu been recently?”.
      Use the prmpts: “Have yu been ” and “Where have yu been recently?” After the interview, I’ll ask a few f yu t share what yu learnt abut yur peers.
      Nw, please share yur interview results. Yu can say like this: “I interviewed Amy. She has been t Guangzhu.”
      Activity 8: Read and discuss
      Mark the grammatically crrect sentences.
      Discuss cnclusins in grups f 4, share them with the class, and then summarize the rule.
      ● Amng the affirmative sentences, why are Sentence 1 and Sentence 2 incrrect, while Sentence 3 and Sentence 4 are crrect? ● Amng the negative sentences, are Sentence 5, Sentence 6, Sentence 7, and Sentence 8 all crrect? What is the difference in the verb frms?
      Activity 9: Learn and exercise
      Read the table in Part B t familiarize yurself with the crrespnding relatinships.
      Cmplete the transfrmatin challenges independently, and then discuss the answers in grups.

      He has been married t his wife since 2019.
      Activity 10: Cmplete and analyze
      Circle the time signal wrds and cmplete the diary entry in Part B1 independently.
