During the ht and dry summer last year, my family experienced the first natural disaster f ur lives. We were hiking in the muntains when lightning flashed acrss the sky. The sky gt darker and darker. And then we realized that we weren’t lking at cluds. It was smke! There was a wildfire!
Last winter, my family had a terrifying experience. It started ne evening while we were enjying a quiet night at hme. My parents were watching TV while my brther was ding his hmewrk. I, n the ther hand, was glued t my bedrm windw. Thick snw was falling and the wrld utside was grwing whiter and whiter.
野火灾（wildfire）是一种失去人为控制、在林地内自由蔓延和扩展的火灾。野火灾是突发性强、破坏性大、处置救助较为困难的自然灾害。 野火灾不仅烧死、烧伤林木，直接减少森林面积，而且严重破坏森林结构和森林环境，导致森林生态系统失去平衡，森林生物量下降，生产力减弱，益兽益鸟减少，甚至造成人畜伤亡。
暴风雪（snwstrm），是伴随强烈的降温和大风的降水天气过程而发生的。当降水以雪的形式出现时，叫做暴风雪。 暴风雪给我们带来交通不便，也可能会给我们带来经济损失。另外，它们也十分危险，对于不熟悉的地形，我们很难判断出雪的深浅。一个人要是掉到了雪里，逃生是十分困难的。暴风雪可能会造成人和动物的伤亡。
