辨析： when & while
when既可以表示一个时间点，也可以表示一个时间段。从句的动词既可以是短暂性动词（如：arrive, start, finish, pen等），也可以是延续性动词（如：stay, live, wrk等）。主句动作可以发生在从句动作的“瞬间”，也可以是同时或先后。
while主要表示一个时间段（持续的、进行的一段时间）。从句的动词必须是延续性动词（如：be, stay, wrk, sleep等）或表示状态的词。从句常用进行时态。强调主句和从句动作“同时持续”发生，或在从句动作的“持续期间内”发生主句动作。

5. beat /biːt/ v. 敲；打
