      The nly reasn I auditined (试演) fr my high schls play Here and Nw was that friends had persuaded me. Part f me thught there was n way I’d be able t memrize all thse lines and still get gd grades. Having never been in a play, I was unsure whether I culd live up t everyne’s trust. But the rest f me was excited t perfrm.
      Surprisingly, my lines were easier t learn than I had thught. But as pening night apprached, we practiced every day. We became stressed and emtinally drained (筋疲力尽的), frgetting lines we had knwn fr weeks. We n lnger laughed at funny parts. Our directr was disappinted, frequently screaming at us t get ur act tgether.
      The pening night finally arrived. When we all std tgether t pray fr a successful perfrmance, I realized this was what we all had been wrking tward fr the last tw mnths. And that’s when I was faced with stage fright. Hwever, stepping int the bright lights, all my fears just disappeared. I knew my lines perfectly and actually had fun. I had n reasn t be nervus. After all, I knew my lines! I had prepared myself well fr the play. I saw my family and friends in the frnt rw and smiled bradly befre falling back int my character.
      We finally put n a successful perfrmance. As we gathered fr ne last grup hug, I felt sad. I had cme t understand my character almst as well as I understd myself. All thse weeks were ver, thse weeks f wrking tgether, f failing painfully but smehw knwing wed cme thrugh. We had started ut as a grup f students whse nly thing in cmmn was the play and we had becme friends. I knew that I wuld miss it all.
