      when language learning and speech prductin has just begun but befre cmplex mastery has been achieved. The

      On ur last trip t twn befre Mther’s Day, we were driving up Main Street when Mther suddenly shuted
      in surprise: “Lk!” She pinted excitedly as Dad drve past Eatn’s. “That big red dress is gne,” she said in
      disbelief. “Wh’d be fl enugh t buy such a dress?” Mther questined, shaking her head. I was almst certain
      that I nticed a trace f lnging (一丝渴望) in her vice.
