表示动作正在进行和发生或存在的状态。
be动词(am/is/are)+现在分词(动词-ing形式)
E.g. Tny is eating a delicius ice cream. Daming is having lunch. We are playing ftball. He is playing tennis nw.
动词-ing形式的变化规律如下表所示:
一般情况下,动词后直接加-ing
以字母e结尾的动词,去掉e,然后加-ing
wrking, buying, visiting, talking, saying
taking, having, leaving, driving, writing, making
以辅音字母+元音字母+辅音字母的重读闭音节结尾的动词,如果末尾只有一个辅音字母,双写这个辅音字母,然后加-ing
stpping, shpping, sitting, getting

主语+be动词(am/is/are)+动词-ing形式+其他
E.g. I am writing a letter. He / She is listening t music. We are enjying ur trip. They are talking t each ther.
主语+be动词(am/is/are)+nt+ 动词-ing形式+其他
E.g. I am nt writing a letter. He / She is nt (isn’t) listening t music. We are nt (aren’t) enjying ur trip. They are nt (aren’t) talking t each ther.
现在进行时的一般疑问句及其回答
Be动词(Is/Are)+主语+ 动词-ing形式+其他?
E.g. —Is she ding her hmewrk? —Yes, she is. / N, she isn’t. —Are yu listening t music? —Yes, I am. / N, I am nt.
回答:Yes, 主语+be动词. / N, 主语+be动词 +nt.
如果要问对方在做什么,我们可以这样说:What are yu ding? 你(们)在做什么?问其他人在做什么:What are they ding?他们在做什么?What is he ding?他在做什么?
