Over the past few years, China's aerspace industry has witnessed many landmark events. Apart frm celebrating these scientific achievements, the public has als develped a grwing interest in the missins' unique names, many f which are derived frm China's myths and legends.
China's spacecraft are called Shenzhu. This literally means “heavenly ship” in Chinese, and is als a hmnym(同音异义词) fr the Chinese wrds “divine land”, which is a term used in literary wrks t refer t the cuntry. China's mn explratin prject and its lunar prbe(月球探测器)are bth named after a Chinese gddess f the mn, Chang'e. In 2013, the Chang'e-3 lunar prbe landed n the mn and was carried arund by a lunar rver(月球车)called Yutu. The tw names perfectly match the legend f the mn fairy and her pet. In anther example, the relay satellite fr the Chang'e-4 mn explratin missin is called Queqia, r “magpie bridge”. The magpie bridge, in a Chinese flk tale, was frmed by millins f magpies, s that a separated cuple culd meet each ther despite the Milky Way. Likewise, the Queqia relay satellite serves as a “space-bridge”fr cmmunicatin between the mn and the earth.
Chinese peple's eagerness fr the universe dates back t ancient times, sme even trying t explre. Others created many myths and legends, such as “Kuafu Chases the Sun”, t explain phenmena that they culd nt explain. These traditinal stries have becme the surce f inspiratin fr Chinese scientists in the naming f majr space missins.
The famus spacecraft and rvers built by the United States include the Challenger, the Opprtunity and the Spirit, whse names reflect a psitive and enterprising spirit. This is quite unlike hw the Chinese name their spacecraft, which reflects the Chinese peple's sense f rmance and awe fr space as well as their effrts t pass dwn traditinal culture and their ancestrs' spirit f scientific discvery. Nevertheless, all these names, Chinese r freign, shwcase the dreams f humankind and ur cllective pursuit f discvering the secrets f space.
When Apll 11 prepared t land n the mn, the cntrl center n earth tld the astrnauts n bard t “watch fr a lvely girl with a big rabbit”, which refers t Chang'e and her rabbit Yutu. With the rapid prgress f China's aerspace industry, mre and mre Chinese stries embdying Chinese rmanticism will be shwn t the wrld.
      4.Hw is Paragraph 2 develped?
A.By making cmparisns. B.By describing prcesses.
C.By giving examples. D.By analyzing causes.
5.Why was the relay satellite named “Queqia”?
A.Because this name can draw public attentin.
B.Because this name cmes frm a Chinese flk tale.
C.Because this name reflects Chinese rmanticism.
D.Because this name indicates the functin f the relay satellite.
6.What can we infer frm the last three paragraphs?
A.The ancient Chinese explred space t create myths and legends.
B.Sme space missins' names riginated frm traditinal Chinese stries.
C.China and the US name their spacecraft differently because f different kinds f pursuit.
D.China's aerspace industry has changed the wrld.
7.Which is the best title fr the text?
      A.Space Missins' Names.
      B.Hw t Name Space Missins?
C.Space Missins' Names Embdy Chinese Rmanticism.
      D.Chinese Myths and Legends.

Astrnaut Sctt Kelly has been living n the Internatinal Space Statin(ISS)since March 28, 2015. And just like any ther hme, the ISS requires sme husekeeping, in the frm f regular wrk and repairs.
That is why Kelly and his partner Kjell Lindgren perfrmed activities utside the statin n Wednesday. The peratin began at 8:03 am and lasted fr mre than seven hurs. It was the first spacewalk fr bth men.
The ISS has been in cntinual use fr 15 years, and has hsted ver 200 peple, including astrnauts and private turists. During their activities, Kelly and Lindgren did basic electrical wrk, such as attaching new wires that will prvide pwer fr dcking prts(对接口)n the statin. The dcking prts will be used when ther peple arrive at the ISS. Als, the tw astrnauts fixed a thermal(防寒的) cver n a key scientific instrument n the statin t prtect it frm the freezing temperatures f space.
As the mre senir astrnaut, Kelly led the spacewalk. Hwever, Lindgren dealt with sme f the mre challenging parts f the jb as he has lnger arms than Kelly.
During a spacewalk, the simplest wrk becmes a difficult task. Kelly and Lindgren spent mnths training and practicing fr the peratin. The preparatin began in NASA's Neutral Buyancy Lab(NBL). Here astrnauts are made t wrk in an envirnment similar t the ne utside the space statin.
Even getting the space suits ready can take days. While each suit is built t fit the astrnaut perfectly wh will wear it, adjustments(调整) need t be made right up t the time when the spacewalk begins. The adjustments address any change in the astrnauts' bdies that has ccurred as a result f being in a gravity-free envirnment.
8.Why did Kelly and Lindgren take the spacewalk?
      A.T clean up the ISS.

10.Why did Lindgren d mre challenging wrk than Kelly during the spacewalk?
A.He knew mre abut the statin.
B.He was the leader f the team.
      C.He has a lnger reach.
D.He had mre experience f the spacewalk.
11.What des the underlined wrd “address” in the last paragraph mean?
      A.Result in. B.Belng t. C.Interact with. D.Deal with.
根据第一段最后一句“And just like any ther hme, the ISS requires sme husekeeping, in the frm f regular wrk and repairs.”和第二段第一句“That is why Kelly and his partner Kjell Lindgren perfrmed activities utside the statin n Wednesday.”
根据第三段中的“During their activities, Kelly and Lindgren did basic electrical wrk, such as...”和“Als, the tw astrnauts fixed a thermal cver n a key scientific instrument n the statin...”
根据第四段最后一句“Hwever, Lindgren dealt with sme f the mre challenging parts f the jb as he has lnger arms than Kelly.”
