Step 1. Review (5 minutes)
The teacher shws sme pictures related t the fd in this unit thrugh the PPT. Randmly select students t describe the fds in the pictures in English t review the key vcabulary and sentence patterns.
Cnduct a simple grammar quiz. Give sme sentences cntaining the grammar pints f this unit (such as exclamatry sentences, imperative sentences, etc.) and let students rewrite r fill in the blanks t check students' mastery f grammar knwledge.
Step 2. Writing Revisin (10 minutes)
Distribute students' writing assignments frm the previus class. Let students revise accrding t the teacher's crrectin cmments. The teacher reminds students t pay attentin t grammar mistakes, vcabulary usage, sentence structure, and cntent integrity.
Organize students fr peer review. Each grup member exchanges their cmpsitins and evaluates them accrding t the evaluatin scale frm aspects such as cntent, language, and structure, and gives specific suggestins and scres.
Invite sme students t share their gains and prblems in the prcess f revising their cmpsitins. The teacher summarizes and gives guidance.
Step 3. New Writing Task (12 minutes)
Assign a new writing task: Ask students t write an article titled "An Unfrgettable Fd Experience", describing an unfrgettable fd - tasting experience, including the name f the fd, its appearance, taste, the dining scene, the md at that time, and the reasns why this experience left a deep impressin.
The teacher gives the writing ideas and framewrk. Fr example, students can adpt a general - specific - general structure, intrducing the tpic at the beginning, describing the prcess f the fd - tasting experience in detail in the middle, and summarizing the significance f this experience at the end. At the same time, remind students t use the vcabulary, sentence patterns, and rhetrical devices learned in this unit t make the article mre vivid and interesting.
Students start writing. The teacher walks arund and prvides individual guidance, encuraging students t express their ideas bldly.
Step 4. Oral Presentatin (10 minutes)
Each student makes an ral presentatin within the grup, sharing their writing cntent. Grup members listen carefully and give evaluatins and feedback.
Each grup selects a representative t present t the whle class. After the presentatin, ther students can ask questins and express their pinins. The teacher gives a summary evaluatin, affirming students' perfrmances, and at the same time pinting ut existing prblems and imprvement directins.
Step 5. Self - Check and Summary (5 minutes)
Let students cmplete the exercises in the Self - Check part, including vcabulary spelling, grammar filling, sentence translatin, etc., t self - check their mastery f the knwledge f this unit.
