本单元的主题是人际交往和谈论问题及提建议，围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动，使学生掌握提建议的一些句型，正确使用 Why dn’t yu …?句型来提建议，以及用情态动词culd和shuld表示提建议的用法。在教学过程中，将单元话题与实际生活密切地联系起来，多创设一些关于人际关系问题情景，让学生参与其中，从而激发学生的学习兴趣。
