    1 Say greetings t the Ss as usual.
    2 Check the hmewrk
    Step 2 Presentatin
    Say: Lk at the picture.
    What’s the by ding? Oh, he’s having a yard sale. Make the Ss guess the meaning f “yard sale”. Then say: Lk at the bike ver there. he bught it three years ag. Ask: Hw lng has he had the bike? Help the Ss answer: He has had it fr three years. He has had it since three years ag. Write them n the Bb. Then say: Lk at the bks, hw lng has he had them? Can yu guess? Get the Ss t say: He has had it fr …years/since … years ag. Then make them guess mre things by using “fr” and “since”.
    Step 3 Listening and practicing
    Get the Ss t listen t 1b and practice in pairs by using the infrmatin in 1a. Pay attentin t the usages f the Present Perfect Tense by using “fr” and “since”.
    Step 4 Listening and practicing
    Get the Ss t listen t the tape and check the things Army’s family are giving away and circle the things they are keeping. Then listen t it again and fill in the blanks. Practice in pairs by using the infrmatin in 2a and 2b.
