1.现在完成时表示从过去一直持续到现在的动作或状态,并可能还将持续下去。简称“延续用法”
1)常与for, since引导的时间段的时间状语连用.
2)动词使用延续性动词。因为瞬间动词在肯定句、疑问句中不能和时间段连用.
since: (自…以来)
1)since+时间点 He has stayed here since 5 o’clock.
2)since+ 时间段+ ago He has stayed here since 5 hours ago
在现在完成时态中,for与since引导的时间状语可以相互转换。
since+一段时间+ago=for+时间段;
since two weeks ago=for two weeks;

long可与疑问副词how构成how long短语,意为“时间多久或物体多长”,是对表示过去已经开始持续到现在的动作或状态,常用的时间状语since+过去点的时间,for+一段时间(数词+量词)。
如:How long does it take him to get to his hometown?他回自己的家乡要多长时间?
---How long has your brother been a soldier? 你兄弟当了多长时间的兵了?
---He has been a soldier for one year.他成为一个士兵已经一年了。
3. Amy wants to keep her old things because they bring back sweet memories.
memory 在此处作可数名词,其复数形式为 memories。
