Thugh it is an ld fable, it casts a light n us even tday. We all value friendship, but have yu cnsidered that we need bundaries with ur friends? One example frm real life is like this. Once I thught friends shuld get clse t each ther, the clser the better. Ma Jing is the first friend I made at senir high.

A Hare(野兔) was very ppular with the ther animals in the jungle wh all claimed t be her friends. One day she heard the hunds(猎犬) appraching her and hped t escape them by the aid f her Friends.

The bull replied: “I am very srry, but I have an appintment with a lady; but I feel sure that ur friend the gat will d what yu want.” The gat, hwever, feared that his back might d her sme harm if he tk her upn it. The ram (公羊), he felt sure, was the prper friend t ask fr help. S she went t the ram and tld him the case. The ram replied: "Anther time, my dear friend.
I d nt like t interfere n the present ccasin, as hunds have been knwn t eat sheep as well as hares.“ The Hare then applied, as a last hpe, t the calf, wh regretted that he was unable t help her, as he did nt like t take the respnsibility upn himself, as s many lder persns than himself had declined the task. By this time the hunds were quite near, and the Hare tk t her heels(逃之夭夭) and luckily escaped.
