本课是阅读教学部分。2a是读前活动,主要调查学生的课外生活。2b-2d是读中活动,阅读语篇介绍了一些中国父母与美国父母对于学生业余活动与课外学习安排的安排与想法,各项互动要求学生能够根据上下文猜测词义,在理解所读内容的基础上总结出中美家庭共同存在的问题,并表达自己的观点和看法。
学情分析
学生在本单元 A部分已经学习使用了建议的表达和 until、s that 以及 althugh等连词的用法,而且对于中西方文化差异的话题很感兴趣,尤其是在谈论课后辅导班和课外活动上,学生有很强的好奇心,很想开口表达自己的看法。
一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1)通过这节课学习,学生能掌握以下单词:member, pressure, cmpete, pinin, skill, typical, ftball, cut ut, cntinue, , crazy, develpment, cause, usual
2)通过这节课学习,学生能掌握以下句型:
① I think Wei Ming shuld...
② Althugh yu may be..., yu shuld talk t them.
③ Life shuldn’t just be abut ...
④ Why dn’t they just let their kids be kids?
2. 能力目标
1)通过使用阅读策略,猜测生词的意思利用信息的能力。
2)阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。
3.情感态度价值观目标:了解中国及一些其他国家中学生们普通存在的生活及学习上问题,了解别人的生活现状及他们苦恼,知道学习知识是很重要的事情,但它并不是生活的全部。

1)掌握本课时出现的生词及用法。
2)通过使用阅读策略,猜测生词的意思利用信息的能力。
3)阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。
