    Justificatin: t aruse students’ interest and elicit the tpic f China’s sea explratin.

    Students skim the title and pictures t predict the cntent and the text type. The teacher leads them t identify essay types.

    Justificatin: t practice students’ predictin skills and prepare fr reading and writing.
    Activity 3. Reading
    After predictin, students are asked t skim Text 1 and divide it int three parts. Then, they figure ut the structure f the text.
