动词-ing形式的句法功能
Read the sentences belw.
1. As yu can imagine, getting burnt can lead t very serius injuries.2. The first and mst imprtant step in the treatment f burns is giving first aid.3. It is best t place burns under cl running water, especially within the first ten minutes.4. Remve any clthes using scissrs if necessary, unless yu see the fabric sticking t the burnt skin.5. 动词-ing形式的功能总结

it在句首作形式主语,而动词-ing形式在后面作真正主语的常用句式:
It is n use/gd/fun ding sth.It is a waste f time ding sth.It is useless/wrthwhile ding sth.
动词-ing形式的基本结构
一、-ing形式的结构
1. Playing with fire is dangerus.2. I dn’t like being laughed at in public.3. Having read the pem fur times, he culd recite it.4. Having been surrunded fr a mnth, the enemy had t give in.5. Nt knwing this, Li Hua didn’t cme.6. Tm was punished fr nt having dne his hmewrk.
Observe the structure f the -ing frm in each sentence.
(1)动词ing形式作主语时,往往表示经常性、习惯性的动作,通常置于句首,谓语动词用单数。Having a walk every day helps t make ne keep healthy.每天散步有助于一个人保持健康。。Climbing muntains is really difficult fr the ld.对于老人来说爬山确实困难。
二、-ing形式的用法
动词ing形式作宾语时,表示动作的对象,或代替it作真正的宾语,如:(1) We tried t avid making mistakes.(2)Have yu cnsidered lking fr ne special friend?(3)D yu feel like having a walk with me after supper?(4) I dn't think it pssible living in such a cld place.

(1)某些动词或动词短语之后只能接动词 -ing 形式作宾语:
考虑建议盼原谅: cnsider, suggest / advise, lk frward t, pardn 承认推迟没得想: admit, delay / put ff, fancy / imagine避免错过继续练: avid, miss, keep / keep n, practice 否认完成停能赏: deny, finish, stp, enjy / appreciate 不禁介意准逃亡: can’t help, mind, allw / permit, escape
v.ing形式作宾语
2.作动词短语的宾语►He insisted n ding it in his wn way.►I dream f sailing arund the wrld and leading a happy life. (2) 常见的跟v.ing形式作宾语的动词短语有:insist n, bject t,be gd at,be fnd f,lead t,put ff,give up, lk frward t,stick t,feel like,devte t,get/be used t, pay attentin t,be wrth,dream f,think f,be cncerned abut,set abut,be addicted t,be accustmed t,devte neself t,be used t,get dwn t,lead t,cntribute t等
动词 -ing 形式作表语:说明主语的性质、状态或内容,如:The film is interesting. His hbby is cllecting stamps.My jb is lking after the children.His cncern fr his mther is mst tuching.
注:动词 -ing 形式作表语表抽象的一般性的行为,而不定式作表语表一次具体的动作或将要发生的事。 e.g: Tny’s hbby is drawing,but nw what he wants t d is(t) dance. 托尼的爱好是画画,可是现在他想要做的是跳舞。
(1) 单个动词的-ing形式作定语位于被修饰名词的前面, 既可以表示被修饰者的作用或功能,也可以表示被修饰者的动作或状态。

(1) 动词-ing形式作宾语补足语常放在宾语后面,表示 一个正在进行的主动性的动作,强调一个过程或 一种状态。

(2) 当主句转换为被动结构时,原来作宾语补足语的 动词-ing形式便转换为主语补足语。
They fund the result very satisfying. = The result is fund very satisfying.
表示动作发生的原因、时间、方式、结果、条件、伴随状况等。

动词-ing形式的基本结构:
having been dne
否定式:nt ding/ being dne/ having dne/ having been dne
非谓语动词形式作定语:(1) 过去分词作定语(dne)表示被动,动作已完成。(2) 动词 -ing 形式作定语(Ving )表示主动,动作正在发生。(3)动词 -ing 形式的被动式作定语(being dne)表示被动,动作正在发生。(4)不定式作定语(t d)表示主动,动作将要发生。(5)不定式的被动式作定语(t be dne)表示被动,动作将要发生。 the stadium built last year(已经建完) the stadium being built nw(正在被建) the stadium t be built next year(将要建造)

动词-ing形式的复合结构
动词-ing形式的复合结构有4种:
形容词性物主代词+动词-ing名词所有格+动词-ing人称代词宾格+动词-ing名词+动词-ing
1. D yu mind my/ me/ Jack’s/ Jack leaving nw?2. His/ Tm’s winning the first prize last year impressed me a lt.
v.ing形式的复合结构实际上是给v.ing形式加了一个逻辑主语。一般来说有四种形式:①形容词性物主代词+v.ing②名词's+v.ing③代词宾格+v.ing④名词+v.ing►Tm's winning the first prize last year impressed me a lt.汤姆去年得了一等奖使我印象深刻。►D yu mind my/me/Jack's/Jack leaving nw?你介意我/杰克现在离开吗?
