Nwadays there are a lt f unexpected accidents. What wuld yu d in such situatins?
In grups, chse ne f the medical emergencies in the phts belw.
Research hw t perfrm first aid fr that medical emergency.
Have the victim sit dwn and elevate the ft. Put an ice pack n the ankle t reduce the swelling. Put a firm bandage arund the ft and ankle.

Keep the head higher than the level f the heartStay upright, d nt lie dwn• Apply ice t the nse• Pinch all the sft parts f the nse tgether between the thumb and index finger
Put a bandage n the wund and apply pressure t reduce the bleeding.
If the persn can cugh, dn’t d anything. If he/she can’t cugh and is turning blue in the face, hit him/her between the shulder blades (肩胛骨) with the flat f the hand three r fur times.
D nt mve the brken bne if pssible. D nt mve the victim. Supprt the brken arm in the mst cmfrtable psitin. Keep the arm still using a sling r get the victim t supprt the brken arm with the ther arm. Get medical help immediately.
1. Check t see if he is breathing.
2. Try t start his breathing.

Press a hand n his chest many times.
Use the muth-t-muth methd.
Lay him n his back, clse his nse with yur fingers and breathe int his muth. Repeat this as ften as necessary.
Learn hw t swim.
Swim with a life-buy.
Never swim alne.
Dn’t swim in dangerus waters.
Call fr a dctr r an ambulance.
Never pull her ut f the car.
Find enugh peple t lift the car safely and take her t hspital at nce.
Lk at bth sides when crssing the street.
Call 119 first and tell them the exact address n the phne.
Call 120 t ask fr an ambulance if smene is badly burnt.
Cl the area f skin and put a piece f dry clean clth ver the area f skin.
Keep calm and find yur way ut quickly, using the escape rute exit.
Try t sund the fire alarm.
Dn’t pen the dr if the dr is ht r if yu see smke cming under the dr.
Stand in frnt f a pen windw and shut fr help. Try t cver yur muth with a wet twel.
G t the hspital at nce.
Never pull it ut f the cut.
Fr nt serius cuts, wash the area f cut, dry it and cver it with a bandage r a piece f dry and clean clth.

Prject 2: Make yur wn first-aid kit
With a partner, research what shuld be included in a first-aid kit, hw the items in the first-aid kit shuld be used, and in which emergencies they shuld be used.
Cllect the items and put them in a bx r cntainer that is easy t stre and find. In mst cases, the items fr a first-aid kit can be bught cheaply at a pharmacy. Draw up an infrmatin sheet t g in the first-aid kit. It shuld include emergency phne numbers, a list f the items, and an explanatin f hw t use the items. Use the table belw t help yu.
Present yur first-aid kit t the class. Intrduce and explain the use f each item.
