    Step 1 Lead in Share yur travel plans fr the cming Natinal Day hlidays
    1. Where are yu planning t travel?
    2. When are yu leaving?
    3. Hw are yu getting there?
    4. Hw are yu getting arund while travelling there?
    5. What are yu eating while travelling there?
    Step 2 Discvery
    Lk at the sentences. What d yu think the tense in the sentences expresses?
    1. I’m travelling arund Eurpe fr tw weeks with my aunt and uncle.
    2. We are renting a car and driving!
    3. My parents are taking me t Hng Kng during the Octber hliday.
    The present cntinuus tense is used t talk abut future plans.
    Step 3 Cnclusin
    Activity 1 Read the cnversatin and underline verbs in the present cntinuus tense. Discuss with yur partner when and hw these verbs are used.
    Amy: Hell, Jeremy! What are yu ding this weekend?
    Jeremy: Hi, Amy! Sme friends and I are ging t that new water park n Saturday. D yu want t jin us?
    Amy: Sure, I’d lve t! What time and where?
    Jeremy: We’re meeting at 10:00 a.m. at the bus stp near ur schl.
    Amy: Hw abut lunch? Are yu eating there at the water park?
    Jeremy: Well, I’m bringing my wn lunch. I think sme f the thers are eating at the park, but the fd there is really expensive.
    Cnclusin: 现在进行时表将来多用于谈论已经计划好了的未来安排
    1. 用于大多数表示位置移动的动词(位移动词)(短语):g, cme, travel, leave, bring, take, arrive, return, start, fly, visit, take ff, land, see ff, set ff等
    2. 也可用于非位移动词(短语):eat, d, meet, plan, buy, have, spend, play, finish, stay, rent, bk, attend, pack, cntact, apply fr, pick up, check ut等,此时常常与表示将来的时间状语连用。
    例句展示:
    I’m travelling t Beijing this Natinal Day hlidays with my family.
    We’re leaving n the evening f Octber 30 and we are flying there.
    Our plan is arriving in Beijing at arund 10:50 p.m.
    We’re renting a car in Beijing t get arund easily.

    Activity 2 Read the fllwing sentences and underline verbs in the simple future tense. Discuss with yur partner when and hw these verbs are used.
    Frm there, yu’ll spend ne day travelling by bat t yur accmmdatin in the middle f the frest.
    This fur-day walking tur will take yu n amazing paths thrugh the Andes Muntains n the way t the city f Machu Picchu. After reaching yur destinatin, yu will have a day t explre and be amazed by this ancient city.
    There, a bat will take yu t stay with a lcal Urs family n an island fr three days.
    Cnclusin: 一般将来时构成will d(第一人称时可用shall d)
    表示将来的其他表达方式:
    be ging t d,表示已计划好的未来安排,此时可与现在进行时表将来互换;表根据明显迹象表明将要发生的事情
    be t d,表示按照计划约定即将发生的事或者按照职责、义务、要求必须去做
    be abut t d sth.,表示即将发生的动作,通常不与将来时间状语连用
    一般现在时,表示按照日程表或者时刻表的那排将要发生的事情,或者用于时间状语从句、条件状语从句中,用一般现在时表将来
    例句展示:
