展开The theme f this article is Earthquake. It intrduces Tangshan earthquake. Accrding t the infrmatin f the text, we can infer the causes f the damage and casualties caused by the Tangshan earthquake, and explre the inspiratin f pst-earthquake recnstructin fr them.
There are five natural sectins in the text. The main lines are the warning signs befre the earthquake, the damage caused by the earthquake, the rescue after the earthquake and the recnstructin after the earthquake. They cnnect the reactin and feeling f peple wh have experienced the earthquake befre, during and after the earthquake, that is, they are unaware f the strange phenmena befre the earthquake, and the shck and fear caused by the terrible damage caused by the earthquake. And the timely arrival f rescue and pst-earthquake recnstructin bring them hpe and inspiratin.
In the text teaching design, we shuld grasp the main line f pre-earthquake, epicenter and pst-earthquake, take cntent, language and meaning as the guidance, help students srt ut the language n earthquake tpics, and taste the appeal f varius rhetric techniques. Secndly, frm the purpse f understanding the writing f the text, we can dig the cnntatin f the text and further train students' thinking. Fr example, the title f the text is The Night The Earth Didn't Sleep. The authr des nt simply take Earthquake as the title, but uses anthrpmrphic narrative, which can guide students t understand and understand the text rughly befre reading. After reading, we can deeply understand the duble thinking and feel the multiple meanings f the title. In additin, this lessn needs t pay attentin t the cultural elements f disaster ruthless affectin, students need t think and reach a cnsensus, in the "fatal disaster, fragile life" reality, peple can nly unite t vercme the ruthless disaster with affectin.
