    [湖北武汉2020高一期中联考]Schl had just started in August when Cnner began thrwing up fr n reasn. It wasn’t lng befre the by als began suffering frm terrible headaches. The dctr Ck decided that the masks culd at least be made t lk like smething fun—maybe Batman r Mickey Muse. “I started thinking these masks are white and nt fun at all fr kids,” she tld The Greenville News. “I felt if we culd make the masks a little mre fun fr them, they might be a little mre excited abut cming in fr treatments. Because the kids are afraid. While the treatment itself isn’t physically painful, it can cause a lt f anxiety. And the treatment is required daily fr up t six weeks.”
    And the masks really make a difference. “The kids really like them,” Ck said. “It makes what is. let’s face it, a terrible experience, a nice ne because they get t chse smething themselves.”
    When new children cme in fr the treatment. Ck finds ut what their favurite mvies r cartn characters are. Then she sets abut creating the mask by drawing the image she wants nt paper, sticking it with glue, and nce it’s dry, she applies the clurs using paints. Each child can take the mask hme nce the treatment ends.
