本单元教材以“怎样交新朋友”为中心话题,围绕着“怎样认识彼此？”和“需要了解一个新朋友的哪些方面？”进行学习和运用相关知识。
Sectin A主要学习关于了解彼此的常用表达。应掌握句型：Hell！I' I have yur name？/Hi！I' t meet yu./—Gd mrning！I' yu...？—Gd mrning！Yes,I am./N,I'm...等。Sectin B的重点是要求学生读懂两封电子邮件,完成所安排的读写任务,教师在教学中应合理利用课本上的知识进行教学。
