Task 1 Skimming and Matching
The T make Ss skim the passage and chse the main idea f each paragraph s that Ss can grasp the main idea f the passage.Then the T can present the answers.
Task 2 Scanning
The T can guide Ss t read each paragraph carefully and answer the questins abut each paragraph. Fcus Ss’ attentin n the details and the key pints. Then the T can present the answers.
Task 3 Retelling
The T can invite sme Ss t retell ne paragraph f the passage and then clse the textbks and fill in the blanks in PPT. Then the T can present the answers.
3a The T make Ss pen the textbks and read the questins in 3a in chrus and make sure Ss understand the meaning. Then ask Ss t read the passage again and find the answers t the three questins. The T can ask sme Ss t share his/her answers in class and then present the crrect answer.

An idim is a grup f wrds with a special meaning. This meaning may be quite different frm the meanings f the individual wrds in the idim. Fr example, “it’s a piece f cake” means“it’s very easy”.Other idims related t learning:
It’s easy as pie. (Meaning : It’s very easy.)
It’s as easy as ABC. (Meaning : It’s very easy.)
The T can als pint ut that different languages have their wn unique idims, and ask fr examples f sme Chinese idims. Emphasize that t learn a language well, we need t learn the idims f that language.

be in lve with表示“与相爱”,强调状态,可与表示一段时间的状语连用。
althugh cnj. 虽然;尽管 引导让步状语从句,与thugh 同义,相当于even if 或even thugh。althugh, thugh 不能与but 同用在一个句子中
secret n. 秘密;秘诀 adj. 秘密的;保密的
