Who is a person you admire?2. Why do you admire him/her?设计意图:创设情境,引入主题,铺垫语言。Step 2 TalkingUse the diagram to discuss the person you admire.1. What are some common careers?2. What things do these professionals do?3. What are the qualities of admirable people? Learn the examples of a famous scientist, a famous writer, and a famous entrepreneur.设计意图:利用语言支架,进行拓展知识学习。Step 3 Listening1. What are the people in the dialogue talking about?2. Who is an admirable person in Jenny’s mind?设计意图:基于主题引导学生获取初步信息,导出核心内容。Step 4 Writing1. Write about an admirable person in your mind.2. Introduce the outline of an expository essay.3.
