    通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标:
    1.知识目标
    掌握词汇: rder, smthly, satisfy, need, prperly, cmplete, mess, lay, stre, cin, bill, private, paper, spread, wheel, in general, n lnger
    2.能力目标
    (1)了解机器人可以怎样改变我们的生活;
    (2)认识并理解与机器人共处的有关词汇和表达;
    (3)了解拥有机器人的利与弊。
    3.情感目标
    引导学生自主深入思考机器人在人类生活中的地位。
    重点难点
    1.重点:理解并掌握本课涉及的词汇和句子。
    2.难点:利用所学内容和自己的思考谈论理想中的机器人。

    Step 1 Lead-in
    1. Shw students sme pictures.

    2. Present a picture f Mr Jiang’s hme rbt t students and intrduce it t them. Learn the new wrds at the same time.

    Step 2 Presentatin
    1. Ask students t listen t the article as a whle.
    Daniel is very interested in rbts. He fund an interesting stry in this mnth’s Rbt magazine. Here is the stry.
    Ask students t listen t the article and answer the fllwing questins.
    (1) Whse rbt will we talk abut?
    (2) What did he d with the rbt at last?
    Answers: (1) Mr Jiang’s. (2) He returned it t the shp.
    2. Ask students t read and answer the questins.
    Ask students t read the first paragraph and answer questins. It’s nt necessary t read each paragraph carefully. It is useful t read the first sentence f each paragraph t get the main idea.
    (1) What is Mr Jiang?
    (2) What is his prblem?
    (3) What did he d t slve his prblem?
    Answers: (1) He is a manager f a big cmpany in Sunshine Twn.
    (2) He is always t busy t have any time t relax.
    (3) He rdered a rbt frm a rbt shp.
    3. Ask students t read the article and wrk ut its structure.
    Ask students t read the article carefully and match the main idea with each part.
    Part 1(Para. 1) The rbt helped Mr Jiang a lt.
    Part 2(Paras. 2-4) Hw did Mr Jiang deal with the rbt?
    Part 3(Para. 5) Why did Mr Jiang rder a rbt?
    Part 4(Para. 6) The rbt made t much truble.

    4. Ask students t read Paragraphs 2-5 and cmplete the lists.

    as well也/还会。用于肯定句句末,其前无逗号。
    (肯定句的“也”用t, 否定句的“也”用either)
    He can play the pian and sing as well. 他会弹钢琴,也会唱歌。
