学情分析
我班三年级的学生刚刚接触英语才半年，由于单词量不够，口语表达能力较差，但乐于参加小组合作学习，因此，我设置不同层次且具有挑战性的问题和学习任务，来激发他们的学习兴趣，满足不同层次的学生需求，同时注意加强口语和阅读能力的训练。
教学重难点
重点
能够听、说、认读单词big,small,lng和shrt。
听懂、会说句型“It has..”。
难点
学生能在生活中准确熟练的运用本课句型进行会话和交际。
教学准备
PPT ，单词图片，单词卡片。
五、教学过程
Step 1.Warm—up（5mins）
1.Greetings.
2.Play a game “Yes r N”.
Step 2.leading in (5mins)
Sing a sng“At the z”.

【设计意图】通过用英语与学生问候,做游戏,演唱英文歌曲，不仅复习了旧知，为新授部分营造一个活泼有趣的学习氛围，同时也调动了学生学习新知的积极性。
Step 3.Presentatin (20mins)
Pre-reading.
Shw a picture bk.
(1)Ss describe P1“An apple tree and a rat”(2)Ss guess the rat’s thught. He wants t pick an apple.
【设计意图】利用绘本，创设一个孩子们感兴趣的情境，帮助他们更好的融入到课堂教学中来。
While-reading.
Intrduce 3 animals t teach the key sentences“Lk at the ... It has...”
Here cmes a big elephant and he can pick an apple. Ss try t use the sentence t describe the elephant and the rat.
S1: Lk at the elephant. It has a lng nse.
S2: Lk at the rat. It has a shrt nse.
Here cmes a mnkey and he can pick an apple t.
T helps Ss t describe the mnkey and the rat by using the key sentences.
S1:Lk at the mnkey. It has a lng tail.
S2:Lk at the rat. It has a shrt tail.
A big pig runs int the tree and gets an apple.
Ss describe the pig and the rat by themselves.
S1:Lk at the pig. It has a big head and a big bdy.
S2:Lk at the rat. It has a small head and a small bdy.
【设计意图】通过三个动物来摘苹果，突出他们身体部位的特殊性。这样可以与小老鼠的身体部位形成鲜明的对比，帮助学生形象深刻的理解形容“lng,shrt,big small”,并感知动物的不同。

【设计意图】本环节为巩固练习部分，从给学生“固定框架”到“无框架可依”从简单到略有难度，满足不同层次学生的需求，画神奇的小老鼠让孩子插上想象力的翅膀，发展他们的思维能力，介绍小老鼠，帮助提升学生们的口语表达能力。

【设计意图】家庭作业是课堂教学的延伸，可以巩固课堂教学成果。听录音朗读和表演可以培养学生良好的语音和语调；手工制作小怪物并向其他同学介绍，让学生在动脑动手动口的小组合作中，取长补短，共同进步。
