Part A Let’s talk; Draw and say

一、教学目标

1. 能够听、说、认读单词 giraffe，bear。

2. 能够在实际情景中运用句型Look at that + n. It’s + adj. 描述动物的外形。

二、教学重点及难点

重点：

句型：Look at that + n. It’s + adj.

难点：

对不同单词意思的记忆，尤其是形容词之间容易混淆。

三、教学准备

与教材相配的课件，单词卡片，音频，视频等。

四、教学过程

Step 1. Warm-up

1. Look, say and translate

逐一呈现上一课时所学的四个单词，让学生说出单词，并翻译成中文。

T: Now let’s play a game. You should say the English words and translate it into Chinese.

设计意图：通过游戏的方式复习有关描述动物外形的词汇，进一步巩固上一课时所学单词。

2. Act and say

老师几名学生上台，悄悄对他/她说单词 fat, all, short 或 thin。该学生做动作，其他学生猜单词，并用 It’s + adj. 的句型表达出来。

T: OK! I will invite some students come in front of the classroom. I will say a word to him / her. Then he / she act it. You should guess the word and say with It’s + adj.

设计意图：通过游戏的方式复习巩固上一课时所学单词和句型。

Step 2. Presentation

1. Listen and learn

T: Do you like going to the zoo? Which animal do you like best? Today we will learn a dialogue about the zoo. Please listen carefully.

教师播放Part A Let’s talk 音频。

设计意图：通过老师提问的方式引入本课时话题，并通过听音感知对话内容。

2. Look, listen and learn

呈现对话，教师讲解对话，及对话中的重点单词和句型。

T: Next let’s learn some new words and sentences. Please listen carefully.

(1) 出示giraffe的单词卡片，教师领读，让学生听音跟读。

(2) 出示bear的单词卡片，教师领读，让学生听音跟读。

设计意图：利用图文及音频相结合的方式，讲授本课重点单词，帮助学生牢记。

3. Look and learn

教师呈现句型：如何表述动物外貌特点，学生学习新句型。

设计意图：利用课件，讲授本课重点句型如何表述动物外貌特点，帮助学生牢记。

4. Listen and follow

播放Part A Let’s talk 音频，让学生听音跟读。

T: Now you’ve got to listen and follow. Pay much attention to the pronunciation.

设计意图：引导学生通过看、听、说等途径来感知并巩固对话内容。

Step 3. Practice

1. Role-play in groups

教师呈现对话练习，然后请学生三人一组分角色表演对话。

T: Now let’s role-play in groups.

设计意图：在练习运用本课重点句型的同时，锻炼了学生的综合语言运用能力。

2. Draw and say

教师请学生看课本P24 Draw and say，先读一读，了解活动规则：画出自己最喜欢的动物，然后同桌合作，仿照课本中的对话，进行对话练习。教师请两、三组学生上台前展示自己的作品，并表演对话。

T: Well done! Now please turn to page 24. First read it yourself, then draw your favourite animal. Thirdly, practice it according to the dialogue. Finally I will choose two or three pairs to act it out in the front of the classroom.

设计意图：锻炼学生听说以及绘画能力，通过情境创设帮助学生再次巩固了本课的重点句型。

3. Look and say

教师请四名学生到讲台前，每人发给一张动物卡片，然后让学生用句型Look at the … It’s … 进行描述。

T: Now I will ask four students to come to the front of the classroom. I will give each of you one animal card. Then you should describe it with Look at the … It’s …

设计意图：小组内轮流通过图片说出句子，可以锻炼学生的口语表达能力。

4. Test

T: Now it’s time for you to take a test to check how you’ve learned.

完成随堂检测。

Step 4. Summary

T: At last, let’s summarize the main content of this lesson.

句型：
