状语从句是句子的状语由一个从句充当,来修饰主句中的动词、形容词或副词等。状语从句由从属连词引导,与主句连接,放在主句后面时,一般不在前面加逗号。状语从句根据其表示的意思可分为时间、条件、原因、比较、结果、目的等种类。中考主要考查状语从句中的时态,其中时间状语从句5年2考(nly when, as sn as),条件状语从句5年2考(if, unless),原因状语从句5年 1考(because)。时间状语从句和条件状语从句主要考查“主将从现”原则(5年4考)。
