    多媒体课件、录音机和磁带、一些物品图片、调查表格。
    教学过程
    Step 1 Revisin & Warming up
    Free talk. Talk abut the things students have and hw lng they have had them.
    Shw sme things n the screen,and ask the students t find ne f the things they have at hme. Then teach the students hw t answer the questins. Make a cnversatin like this:
    S1:Hw lng have yu had
    S2:I have had it/them fr...
    S3:I have had it/them since...
    Step 2 Practice
    Lk at the picture in 1a. Wrk in pairs t talk abut the things in the picture and what the peple in the picture are ding.
    Fr example:
    A:D yu have a bike?
    B:Yes,I d.
    A:Hw lng have yu had it?
    B:Fr eight years.
    ...
    Step 3 Presentatin
    1. Shw the pictures f“sweet”“cent”n the screen,and teach them.

    2. Teach“yard sale”“memry”using the picture n page 73.
    T:Lk at the picture. The by is Jeff. What’s he ding?

    Step 4 Listening
    1. Wrk n 1b.
    (1)T:Jeff is having a yard sale. Amy is asking Jeff abut his bike. Lk at the picture. Can yu guess what yu will hear in the cnversatin?
    (2)Play the recrder fr the first time. Let students finish 1b.
    (3)Play the recrder fr the secnd time. Let students check the answers in class.

    (4)Let students lk at the listening material n page 106 and page 107. Play the recrder again and let students listen and repeat. Pay attentin t their prnunciatin.

    (1)Ask a student t read the cnversatin in 1c first.
    (2)Practice the cnversatin in pairs. They must change sme infrmatin t talk abut the things in the picture in 1a.
    (3)Ask sme pairs t act ut their cnversatins in frnt f the class.
    Step 5 Presentatin
    1. Shw students the fllwing pictures and teach the new wrds and phrases:ty,sft,bread maker,scarf,bard game,check.

    Get the class t practice the new wrds and phrases. Then check them.
    (1)Match the wrds with the Chinese meanings.

    (2)Chse the right phrase accrding t the pictures.

    2. Explain that Amy’s family is having a yard sale. They are ging t sell sme ld things. Lk at 2a. What things are they ging t sell? Read the wrds in 2a first.

    Ask sme pairs t act ut their cnversatins in frnt f the class.

    1. Play the recrder fr the first time. Let students finish 2a.
    2. Play the recrder fr the secnd time t check the answers.

    Find ut sme imprtant sentences and write them dwn n the blackbard:

    1. Ask students t make their wn sentences accrding t the things they really have.
    2. Rle-play the cnversatin in 2c.
    Step 8 Rle-play
    1. Read the cnversatin in 2d. And then answer the questins.
    (1)What is Linda?
    She may be a wrker/an assistant in the Sunshine Hme fr Children.
    (2)What des Amy want t d?
    She wants t give away sme things t the kids.
    (3)What things has Amy brught?

    2. Play the recrder and let students listen and read.
    3. Ask students t rle-play the cnversatin in pairs.

    Next weekend yur class will visit the children’s hme and give away sme things t the children. What will yu give away? Wrk in grups and fill in the chart.
    5. Make up their wn cnversatins accrding t the chart. And ask sme pairs t practice their cnversatins in frnt f the class.

    Students clse their bks. Cmplete the passage accrding t 2d.
    Amy is at the Sunshine Hme fr Children. She has sme things fr the kids. They’re a magazine,sme sft tys,sme bard games,a sweater,a dress,and a bread maker. She has had that magazine fr a cuple f mnths. The stries inside may be a bit ld,but they’re still interesting. She has had thse sft tys and bard games fr yunger kids since she was a child. Her mm has had that bread maker fr a lng time but it still wrks.
    Step 10 Cperative inquiry
    Discuss the fllwing language pints in grups and fill in the blanks.
    1. ① —Hw lng have yu had that bike ver there? 那边的那辆自行车你买了多长时间了?
    —I’ve had it fr three years. 我买了三年了。
    ②I’ve had them since I was a child. 从我是个小孩子起,我就拥有了它们。
    以上句子都表示从过去开始持续到现在的动作或状态,可以和表示“从过去某一时刻延续到现在的一段时间”连用,如“fr +时间段”“since +时间点”“since +从句 (过去时)”“since +一段时间+ ag”。
    用since 或fr 完成下列句子:
    (1)She has been ill fr mre than tw weeks.
    (2)I haven’t met him fr a lng time.
    (3)Mary has been here since eight ’clck this mrning.
    (4)It hasn’t rained since tw mnths ag.
    2. I’ve had this magazine fr a cuple f mnths. 这本杂志我买了几个月了。
    a cuple f有两种意思:其一,表示具体的数量“两个”,指两个人或物;其二,表示数量不确定的“少数几个”,作这种虚指的用法时,具体意思往往根据上下文和具体的语境来确定。

    副词 anymre也可以写作any mre,常用于否定句的末尾。与 lnger同义。
