初中阶段接触到的主谓一致,主语大都是名词、代词、数词,谓语需要根据它们的数来确定自己的形式。
回顾一:人称代词作主语时
人称代词作主语时,we,yu,they后面用are,were,d,did,have,had等动词形式。I后面则跟am,was,have,had等。he,she则跟第三人称单数,即is,was,has,had等动词形式。it用法与he,she相似。

表示一段时间、价格、重量、数量或长度等概念的复数名词作主语时,谓语一般用单数。

D 【解析】句意:今天是星期天。游乐场里有许多人。本题考查主谓一致。此处为there be结构,故排除A和B。主语many peple是复数,应该搭配are。故选D。
高中知识衔接
高中阶段我们将要学习到不定代词作主语、并列结构作主语、特殊名词作主语时与谓语动词数的一致等。
知识一:非谓语动词作主语
单个动词不定式短语、单个动名词短语作主语时,谓语动词一般用单数形式;由and或者bth.…and连接的动词不定式短语、动名词短语作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。如:
Ding eye exercises is gd fr yur eyes.做眼保健操对你的眼睛十分有益。
T d and t say are cmpletely different.说和做是截然不同的事情。
经典例题

【分析】动名词短语作主语,句子的谓语动词用单数形式,由此排除B、D两项,根据主语与caused的主动关系,排除A项。

【归纳】单个的动名词短语表示的概念是单数的,作主语时,谓语要与其一致。

知识二:从句作主语
单个从句作主语时,谓语动词一般用单数形式;由and或者bth.and连接的从句作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。如:

【分析】分析句子结构可知,横线前的部分是一个what引导的主语从句,整个句子作主语,因此后面谓语应用单数。

知识三:mre than等结构作主语
由mre than ne(或mre than ne+单数名词),many a+单数名词作主语,谓语动词要用单数形式。如:
Mre than ne teacher gets the flwers,不止一个教师得到了花。
Many a student has been sent t plant trees.很多学生被派去植树。
Mre than ne student has passed the examinatin.不止一个学生通过了这次考试。
经典例题

【分析】句意为:我们班不止一个学生去了上海。此题考查mre than结构作主语时的用法。
【解答】答案为A。
【归纳】mre than+n.结构作主语时,表示的是复数的概念,但是谓语却要用单数。

知识四:and作主语时的特殊情况
若and所连接的两个词是指同一个人或物时,此时and后的名词前没有冠词,它后面的谓语动词就应用单数形式。同时,every+n.+(every)and+n.也表示单数概念。如:
The writer and teacher is cming.那位作家兼教师来了。(作家和教师指同一个人)The irn and steel industry is very imprtant t ur life.钢铁行业对我们的生活来说非常重要。
Every man and wman in this club ften perfrms in public.这个俱乐部的每个男人和女人经常在公共场合演出。
经典例题
The league secretary and mnitr asked t make a speech at the meeting.

【分析】先从时态上考虑,这是过去发生的事情,应用过去时,先排除A,。本题易误选D,因为The league secretary and mnitr好像是两个人,但仔细辨别,mnitr前没有the。在英语中,当一人身兼数职时,只在第一个职务前加定冠词,后面的职务用and相连。这样便可知本题主语为一个人,所以应选B。
【解答】答案为B。
【归纳】遇到and作主语的情况,要先判断其前后是否为同一人。

知识五:with等介词短语与主语连用时
当主语后面跟有with,tgether with,like,except,but,n less than,as well as等词引起的短语时,谓语动词与前面的主语一致。如:
The teacher tgether with sme students is visiting the factry.那个老师和一些学生正参观工厂。
He as well as I wants t g bating.他和我都想去划船。
经典例题
Dr.Smith,tgether with his wife and daughters, visit Beijing this summer.

【分析】主语中心词是Dr.Smith,表单数,谓语动词用单数形式;时间状语是this summer,表计划性的将来,故时态用一般将来时,选A。

【归纳】做此类题时,要摆脱汉语思维。

知识六:定语从句中的主谓一致
在that,wh,which等引导的定语从句中,如果that,wh,which在定语从句中作主语,那定语从句中的谓语动词的数应与先行词的数保持一致。如:
She is ne f the students in Grade One wh dance well.她是一年级学生中跳舞跳得很不错的人之一。
She is the nly ne f the students in Grade One wh dances well.她是一年级学生中唯一一个跳舞跳得好的人。
经典例题
Such pets as Shakespeare widely read,hwever,sme f whse wrks difficult t understand.

【分析】主句中的主语应为pets,谓语动词用复数,其后的非限制性定语从句的主语应为sme f whse wrks,谓语动词也应是复数。故选A。

【归纳】定语从句中的谓语动词,有时由先行词决定,做题时,需要在第一时间找出先行词,然后确定其单复数。

知识七:a series f等修饰主语时
如果主语是由“a series f,ne f,a prtin f,a species f,a chain f等+n.”构成时,动词一般用单数形式。由“a lt f/lts f/plenty f/a variety f/a number f,half f,the rest f/the majrity f/分数/百分数+n.”作主语,其谓语动词的数要根据短语中后面名词的数而定。如:
A series f pre-recrded tapes has been prepared fr language labratry use.准备了一系列的预录带作语言实验用。
The rest f the film is wnderful.电影的其他内容挺精彩的。
The rest f us lve swimming.我们中其余的人喜欢游泳。
注意:the number f表示“……的数量”,谓语用单数。如:
The number f the students is 26.学生的数量是26。
经典例题
The number f freign students attending Chinese universities rising steadily since 1997.

【分析】本题考查主谓一致和时态。主语是the number.故谓语动词用单数,又因时间状语是since1997,所以用完成时态。

【归纳】the number f表示“……的数量”,a number f表示的是“很多”

知识八:the+形容词作主语时的情况
the+形容词表示一类人时,谓语动词用复数形式,表示抽象概念时,用单数形式。如:

The beautiful lives frever、美是永存的。
注意:如果指的是单个人或抽象概念,谓语动词用单数形式。如:
The dead man was a gd friend f him.死者是他的一位好友。

【分析】句意为:老年人比年轻人更容易感冒。此处的the ld和the yung表示的是复数概念。
【解答】答案为B。
【归纳】the+形容词若表示一类人,谓语用复数。

知识九:由句意决定的主谓一致情况
all、mre,any等作主语时,谓语可以是单数,也可以是复数,主要靠句意来决定。如:
All is right.一切顺利。
All are present.所有人都到齐了。
经典例题

【分析】该句为倒装句,真正的主语是the factry,不是the tw muntains。
【解答】答案为B。
【归纳】若只看the tw muntains就不假思索地选A,那就大错特错了。

知识十:就近原则
在由nt als.…,nt just.…but…,r,either.….r.…,neither.…nr.…连接主语的句子以及在there be句型中,谓语动词的单复数按就近原则处理,即按与谓语动词最靠近的那个主语来确定谓语动词的单复数形式。如:
Nt nly Jhn but als I am ging t Shanghai next week.不仅约翰,也包括我,下周都要去上海。
Either yu r she is t g,要么你去,要么她去。
Here is a pen,a few envelpes and sme paper fr yu.这里有给你的一支钢笔,一些信封和一些纸。

【分析】考查主谓一致的用法。连接两个主语时,按就近原则来确定谓语的单复数。ne f yur students谓语应用单数形式。

【归纳】后跟并列的主语时,后面的谓语动词以r后的主语为准

知识十一:ne结构作主语
ne and a half+名词作主语时,谓语动词要用复数。如:
One and a half apples are left n the table.桌子上有一个半苹果。
One r tw mre+复数名词作主语时,谓语动词用复数。如:
One r tw persns are sent there t help them.要派一两个人到那儿去给他们帮忙。
ne f+复数名词+定语从句结构中,定语从句的谓语动词要用复数;而在he nly ne f+复数名词+定语从句的结构中,定语从句的谓语动词要用单数。如:
He is ne f the students wh get there n time.他是准时到达那里的学生之一。
经典例题
Barbara is easy t recgnize as she's the nly ne f the wmen wh evening dress.

【分析】考查主谓一致和时态。首先the nly ne f.…为先行词,定语从句修饰的是ne,即ne是主语,而非后面的复数wmen,根据主谓一致的原则,谓语动词应该用复数,排除A,D。另外,从is可以看出句子是要表示一种习惯,因此要用一般现在时,排除C,故选B。

【归纳】nly是“唯一”的意思,它作为先行词的一部分的时候,就已经暗含了后面的相应内容为单数。

知识十二:概数作主语
the fllwing,half f,the rest f,mst f,all f及百分数或分数+f等后接名词作主语时,谓语单复数根据名词而定。如:
Three furths f the surface f the earth is cvered with water.地球表面四分之三为水所覆盖。

【分析】由a survey可知第一个空用shws,首先排除A、C两项;第二个空前的时间three hurs f utdr exercise a week表示抽象概念,看作单数,故其谓语动词用单数形式。

【归纳】句子越长,越需要划分句子结构,这有利于排除错误答案。

思考总结
主谓一致有三个原则:语法一致,意义一致和就近原则。无论哪一种,重要的是分清一个句子中,哪一个是主语,主语是单数还是复数,分清题目考查的是哪种一致的情况,然后确定谓语形式。主谓一致因为涉及众多特殊情况,常是高中和高考考试的热点,需要认真学习。
