1. Ask the students t read the cnversatin and finish Activity 4 n page 37. Underline the crrect wrds.

such as意为“比如”,用于列举同类人或事物中的几个例子,置于被列举的事物与前面的名词之间,其后不能用逗号。

中国有许多大城市,例如北京、上海和深圳。

我喜欢动物,比如熊、大象、猴子和熊猫。

(1) cme frm意为“来自”,与be frm是同义短语。

als
放在行为动词之前,系动词be、助动词及情态动词之后
t
一般用于句尾,前面通常用逗号隔开,如果在句中,也要用逗号隔开
Tm likes tigers. I als like them. 汤姆喜欢老虎。我也喜欢它们。
I like meat t. 我也喜欢肉。
4. Shall we g and see them? 我们去看看它们好吗?
“Shall we+动词原形? ”意为“……好吗?”, 主要用于征求对方的意见或者提出建议,肯定回答通常用“Yes, let’s…/OK. /Gd idea. /Sure. ”等,否定回答用“Srry,I’m afraid…/I’d lve t, but…”等。
—Shall we play basketball after schl? 放学后我们打篮球好吗?
—Gd idea. 好主意。
5. Which is Lingling the panda? 哪个是熊猫玲玲?
which疑问代词,意为“哪一个”, 一般就某范围的事物进行提问。

Which is yur favurite animal? 你最喜欢的动物是哪一个?
6. Is there a panda called Tny…? 有叫托尼的熊猫吗……?
“called+名词”意为“名叫……的”, 常位于所修饰词的后面,作后置定语。
It is a cat called Mimi. 它是一只名叫咪咪的猫。
He is a by called Bb. 他是一个名叫鲍勃的男孩。
