    Mre and mre evidence (证据) suggests that sitting fr a lng time may be as dangerus t yur health as smking. But a small study suggests that ding five minutes f light walking fr every 30 minutes f sitting can help ffset the harm.
    Researchers asked 11 adults, aged 40 t 70, t sit in a specially-made chair fr eight hurs n five separate days.
    Participants were allwed t wrk n a laptp, read, eat, and use their phnes during the sitting time and were prvided standardized meals.
